From the tab down, click on “Gulmarg Gondola”
Choose Your Ride Options:
The Gondola has two phases:
Phase 1: Gulmarg to Kungdoor (for scenic meadows and light snow) – Price ₹810 per person
Phase 2: Kungdoor to Apharwat Peak (for deep snow, skiing, and stunning Himalayan views) – Price ₹ 1010 per person
You can book for one or both phases depending on your plan.
For booking Phase 2 ride, one needs to have Phase 1 booking.
Phase 1 Gondola ticket booking:
Select route:
Choose Phase 1 (Gulmarg-Kongdori) Two-Way Ticket.
Select date of visit. You can book tickets 2months in advance.
Once date is selected, choose time slot. There are 3 time slots for each date, so one can choose as per their convenience.
After selecting a time slot, the system shows how many tickets are remaining for that date and time.
Fill in details:
Select your nationality.
Select the total number of visitors.
Fill in Visitor’s name, mobile number, email.
In the summary, you can check the total ticket prices.
Check the “I’m not a robot” box and hit “Proceed”
Make Payment for Phase 1:
Once you hit proceed, the page to payment will open automatically.
On the left side, you can check out the total amount to be paid.
From the “PAYMENT OPTIONS”, you can choose your convenient way to pay.
The system will send an e-ticket to your registered email and phone number after you complete the transaction.
Phase 2 Gondola ticket booking:
Select route:
Click on Phase 2 (Kongdori-Apharwat) Two-Way Ticket
Select date of visit. The date for phase 1 and 2 has to be same.
Select the time slot. Choose the same/ later time slot than chosen for Phase 1 tickets.
Put in transaction ID:
To board the cable car for Phase 2, one needs to have Phase 1 tickets.
Click on the “I Confirm I have a valid ticket to travel from Gulmarg to Kungdoor of the same date” box.
You have to enter Phase1 (Gulmarg-Kungdoor) Transaction ID .
Once you open your Phase 1 ticket, on the left hand side, you will notice your name, nationality and then, transaction ID.
Copy the Transaction ID from there.
Now, click “Proceed to next”
Fill in details:
Select your nationality.
Select the total number of visitors.
Fill in Visitor’s name, mobile number, email.

Cancellation Policy for Gondola ticket:
There is option to cancel the tickets, in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation has to be done at least 2days prior to the visit date.
There is cancellation charge of ₹400 per ticket for Phase 1 and ₹500 per ticket for Phase 2.
For cancellation, one need to raise cancellation request via Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation website.

How to cancel ticket:
Go to Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation website or click on👉 https://eticket.webfront.in/jkcc/cancel.
From the home page, select “Cancel tickets”. Look on the right-hand side corner.
Enter the Transaction ID* (as printed on ticket).
Then click on “Send OTP”.
Once you receive the OTP on the registered phone number/email, enter the same and hit Proceed.
Your cancellation request has been registered, and you can expect the refund to be processed shortly.
Repeat the process if you want to cancel both phases tickets.
Things to keep in mind while booking Gondola ticket:
- Recommended to book your ticket well in advance, as they sell out pretty fast.
- Booking slots open almost 2month’s in advance.
- You must first book your Phase 1 tickets, as you need the transaction ID from that booking to reserve your Phase 2 tickets.
- Carry ID (Aadhar/Voter card) as there will be multiple checking before one can board the cable car.
- Save your tickets properly, as you might not be able to download it at the spot as the internet can be patchy.
- Before booking for Phase 2 (Kongdori-Apharwat) tickets, do your research. As the Apharwat peak is almost at 14k feet, carry proper winter clothing.
- It is advised to spend only about 30-1hr, as prolonged exposure to low temperature may cause sickness.
- If one is travelling with children or aged, please be mindful of the temperature at both the phases and decide accordingly.
- It is advised to reach within the time slot one has selected, as if you are too late, you might be denied entry.
- Try to be as early as possible, as with progress of the day, one might have to queue for longer time.
- It is best to try to reach Gulmarg by 9am, as there will be less crowd and shorter queue
